Took my child to Lexington Memorial Hospital Emergency Department on June 28, 2016. Before I was allowed to leave the hospital I was REQUIRED to pay $250.00, even though I have insurance. My insurance company processed the payment and I actually only owed $85.00 so the hospital needs to refund $165.00. I requested my refund three weeks ago. I still have not received the refund. Called again today and was told that the refund dept. was too busy, TOO BUSY!! to talk to me. I was told that "it takes time to process". Not THREE damn weeks! Couldn't wait on their money but they expect me to wait on my refund. Lexington Hospital SUCKS!
A young lady (nurse) in the Triage stated that I'd be able to order food once I got up to dialysis. Well, lo-and-behold, I get to dialysis and the staff there says you can't eat in there. I haven't had food since breakfast (730). One of the male staff asked me if I wanted soup so I asked him if it was bland. As old as he was he had NO CLUE what blandmeant. In STARVING! This is unacceptable and displeasing. If the young lady did not know, then that's all she had to say but she gave a definitive answer to my food question..... NOT OKAY!!!! I will surely write about this on my blog site.
Call the billing office and leave a message and they will never call you back, call them and there is a random message stating that the office is closed but I am calling during normal business hours. What is going on in there?????

RUDE!!!! RUDE!!!! RUDE!!!! STAFF VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY NEVER HAVE DOCTORS COME IN THE ROOM JUST THE PCA'S AND THEY WALK AROUND LIKE BAFFONS WHO KNOW NOTHING THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST HOSPITAL I'VE ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE I WOULDN'T LET MY WORST ENEMY GO TO LEXINGTON MEDICAL CENTER
