I have been coming here for years both for lessons and musical instruments/supplies. The staff are extremely friendly, and they are always willing to help customers. The current lesson teacher (Evan) is very knowledgeable, and he is really laid back and easy to learn from.
Great local shop. For such a small town, they actually have a good selection, typical prices, very helpful staff.
Don't let the outside fool you. They have first class gear and are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They have an especially great selection of PRS gear.
I was surprised by how large the store and its selection are: guitars galore, ukeleles, violins, woodwinds, reeds, amps, loop pedals, keyboards...they even offer lessons at the store. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and seemed more concerned that my 13YO son obtain *the* guitar for him than that they make a sale. We ended up buying a steel-string guitar that he hasn't put down since we got home. My 7YO got a large, easy-to-play harmonica that he also hasn't stopped playing (there were several supercool instruments for little ones). This is truly a family and community music store. You won't regret making the trip or just stopping in if you happen to drive by.
